About Kathy Benson
Kathleen Benson is the President of Office Remedies, Inc. (ORI), a data collection and survey research firm specializing in management of large scale data management and collection projects, custom research studies, and high-impact analysis projects. Kathy and ORI Vice President Sue Lynd founded the company, based in Herndon, Virginia, in 1988. ORI currently serves national corporations, associations and government agencies as their “trusted research partner”.

Benson is active in numerous professional and civic organizations including the Northern Virginia chapter of the National Association of Woman Business Owners, Women Presidents’ Organization, The American Small Business Coalition, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is a long-time sports volunteer at her local high school and supports several charitable organizations through the company.

She has been an ardent supporter and early advocate of a healthy work-life balance. Benson has put these beliefs into practice by instituting flexible work arrangements, generous company benefits and telecommuting options for employees.
